Research and Teaching Interests

Engineering leadership, enhancing student engagement and learning experience via generative AI, development of Open Educational Resources (OER), problem-based learning

Current Research Work

My current focus is majorly on pedagogical research namely in the fields of engineering leadership (development and evaluation), enhancement of learning experience (application of AI powered tools), open educational resources (development and enhancement), and experiential learning (problem-based learning). We conduct our research and implementation work inter-departmental and multi-institutional.

My technical research has focused on various materials engineering and development topics with applications in electrochemical energy storage and conversion, circular economy, and pollution abatement.
