Current Research Work

My work focuses on advanced manufacturing and production systems with an emphasis on bridging engineering research and industrial practice. I am interested in composite materials and manufacturing, computational modeling and process simulation, sustainable and human-centric manufacturing, and Industry 4.0/5.0–enabled production systems. My current interests include manufacturing systems optimization, simulation-driven engineering, strategic supply development and manufacturing integration, and improving resilience, sustainability, and decision-making in modern manufacturing environments through data-driven and systems-level approaches.

In both teaching and research, I am particularly interested in the role of engineering education in preparing future engineers for Industry 5.0 and exploring the broader impact of engineering education on society, human-centric innovation, sustainability, and industrial transformation.
